Entering his 42nd year as a junior golf program director, coach Bob K is calling on all local area students 13 and under, and their families, who are interested in having fun, learning to play the great game of golf, and having the opportunity to travel to other area golf courses for fun events. These matches are designed for fun for all skill levels and are to be hosted by other PGA Golf Professionals. To learn more, go to PGA.org, PGA Junior league to sign up. The program involves ten junior golf classes, 6 separate fun matches at area golf courses, a team uniform, additional prizes, snacks, refreshments and golf equipment, as well as personal instruction from the areas most experienced golf instructor. Olde School Golf School will continue to host complimentary junior golf classes and clinics Saturdays at 1:30 pm, free of charge for golfers of all skill levels.
Also, for any aspiring high school golfers, who want to learn how to break 80 when you tee it up, personal sessions are available at no cost, to learn about solid ball striking, course management, and efficient scoring techniques.
